The Films of Vues sur mer
Every year, in the early weeks of April, coinciding with the sugaring season and other springtime dawns, the Vues sur mer Festival excitedly welcomes cinephiles. It's a long-established tradition during which documentary films flourish. Founded in 2011, Vues sur mer, one of the few festivals devoted exclusively to documentary, has built a reputation for being intimate, warm and welcoming. Each year, it highlights documentaries from here and abroad, salutes the work of emerging talents, and showcases documentary filmmakers from the Gaspé region, all in a spirit of conviviality and proximity between spectators and filmmakers. The 14th edition of the Festival Vues sur mer will take place from April 4 to 7, 2024 at the Centre de création diffusion de Gaspé.
