Alessandra Locatelli is an Italian filmmaker born in Bergamo, in 1981. With a degree in painting from the Brera Academy of Fine Arts, in 2010 she attended the Master in Filmmaker under the artistic supervision of Bruno Oliviero, Leonardo di Costanzo, Alessandro Rossetto and Silvio Soldini. In 2010, the documentary E invece era una volpe was selected at the 51st Festival dei Popoli in Florence. With the film Il passo, she participated in the Corso Salani Award and the Rough Cut Lab Visions du Réel in Nyon. In 2012, with Il rumore dell'erba he won the first prize at the Corto Imola Film Festival.
