André Leduc is a Quebec filmmaker born in Verdun in 1949. He has directed no fewer than ten films for the National Film Board of Canada (NFB), as well as music videos for a number of artists, including Richard Séguin, Daniel Lavoie and Louise Forestier. Specializing in animation, he has used a multitude of techniques in his films (pixilation, drawing on film, drawing on paper, live action), linking his work to a more artisanal conception of animation.

Its comic appeal lies in the characters and the absurd situations they find themselves in, but it also shines a harsh light on our tendency towards needless consumerism prompted by a steady flow of commercials.
