Anna Semenova is a documentary film director and visual artist from Kyiv. With a background in photography and a passion for dance movement methodologies, her work explores the interplay between physicality, psychological behavior, and spirituality. A self-taught photographer from the age of 13, Anna formalized her craft at Minshar Art College in Tel Aviv, focusing on documentary film production. Her debut short dance documentary, Fragments of Resilience, premiered at the 2023 International Festival of Films on Art (Le FIFA 41) in Montreal. Following the Russian invasion of Ukraine, Anna relocated to Canada in late 2022, where she continues to innovate in the realm of visual storytelling.
