Antoine Bourges is a filmmaker originating from Paris, currently based between Toronto and Vancouver. His shorts Woman Waiting (2010) and William in White Shirt (2015), along with his mid-length film East Hastings Pharmacy (2012), have screened in festivals across North America and Europe, including the Berlinale, TIFF, Viennale, and Centre Pompidou's Cinéma du Réel. His first feature Fail to Appear (2017) was released theatrically at the TIFF Bell Lightbox in 2018. Concrete Valley, his third feature film, was presented at the Berlinale in 2023._ _He is currently working on his second feature with Telefilm Canada. Bourges’ work blurs the lines between fiction and documentary, often exploring the impact of systems and institutions on human relationships.
