Ariane Bilodeau is a filmmaker living in Montreal. She has collaborated on several film and television projects as an editor. To My Mother is her first short film as a director and was selected in 2015 by Talent Tout Court to represent Canada at the Cannes Film Market, in addition to winning the INIS award at the Prends ça court! gala and the Air Canada enRoute award. In addition to her cinematographic practice, she is pursuing studies in archival science and is interested in the links between archives and memory.
