Born in 1981 in Copenhagen, Elvira Lind graduated from City Varsity School of Media and Creative Arts in Cape Town in 2006, majoring in documentary film. She has spent the past 10 years working in all aspects of production, primarily within the field of documentary in UK, Denmark, Sweden, Israel, USA and South Africa. Bobbi Jene is Elvira's second feature length documentary film. In her recent years she has crossed over in the fiction field, working with various international directors both during production and in the early script writing process.
