Érik Bullot is a French filmmaker and theorist, born in 1963. After studying at the National School of Photography (Arles) and at IDHEC (Paris), he has directed numerous films that blur the lines between documentary and experimental cinema, exploring the poetic and formal powers of the medium. More recently, he has published Cinéma Roussel (2021) and L’attrait des ventriloques (2022) with Yellow Now Editions. His work has been showcased in many festivals and museums worldwide. He teaches cinema at the National School of Art in Bourges.
