Jean-Luc Magneron studied sociometry and filmology. He got the Fulbright Scholarship for film-directing in the USA. He founded and directed the International Centre for Experimental Theatre. In 1966, he became director of the Gabonese Television. He produced several plays in Paris and in the United States. He directed a lot of films for the C.E.R.T., for American TV, for Gabonese television, for the O.R.T.F. research service and for French television. He also directed 35mm films and produced and directed a medium-length film on stuntmen and women.
