Jean-Pierre Pozzi studied at the School of Fine Arts in Dijon before starting his career as an assistant director. He directed two short films Mad Night and Dressing Room in the early 1990s and then directed numerous advertising films in France and abroad. In 2010 he co-directed with Pierre Barougier his first feature documentary Ce n'est qu'un début about learning philosophy in a kindergarten class. In 2017, his second feature film, Macadam Popcorn a documentary road movie with Mathieu Sapin, was released. He is currently developing several projects, both in fiction and documentary.
