Lorraine Price is a Montreal-based photographer, writer, and director. Her work explores taboo subjects, focuses on strong female voices, and challenges singular truths. Her films have been screened internationally. In 2013, she co-directed her first feature documentary Last Woman Standing, which looks at the world of women's boxing. In 2020, she directed On The Line, a new sports documentary as part of TSN's documentary series Engraved on a Nation, which tells the story of the 20-year rivalry between the American and Canadian women's hockey teams. In 2021, she directed and produced the short documentary The Hairdresser, a poetic film about a woman who does the hair of palliative care patients. The film had its world premiere at Hot Docs where it received an honorable mention.
