Millefiore Clarkes is an award-winning filmmaker and editor from Canada’s smallest province, Prince Edward Island. Through her company, One Thousand Flowers Productions, she produces a variety of media work: documentaries, music videos, dramas, experimental shorts, and video installations. She received the 2019 DOC Institute’s Vanguard Award. Her films have screened at festivals internationally and been broadcast nationally. She has directed four documentaries for the NFB: Island Green (2013), Blue Rodeo - On the Road (2014), The Song and the Sorrow (2018) and Love in Quarantine (2020). Her experimental short December in Toronto (2011) is featured on Vimeo’s Staff Picks, and her music videos have won a number of awards. She is passionate about making films that connect us to one another and to nature.
