Director, screenwriter, and editor, Myriam Verreault gained recognition with the film À l’ouest de Pluton (2008), which received critical acclaim both in Canada and internationally. She works in both fiction and documentary filmmaking, as well as interactive projects. In collaboration with the digital department of the National Film Board of Canada (NFB), she created Ma tribu c’est ma vie (2011) and The Devil's Toy Remix Montréal (2015). She regularly edits for television programs and edited the documentary Québékoisie (2013) by Mélanie Carrier and Olivier Higgins. She then directed a film adaptation of Naomi Fontaine's novel Kuessipan, which premiered in 2019.
