Nebojša Slijepčević has directed numerous television series including Direkt (2002), as well as auteur documentary shorts such as Of Cows and People (2000) and Real Man's Film (2012) that received several awards at various international festivals. Slijepčević also directed an animated documentary short Dog/Rabbit (2011) and fiction films. In 2013, his first documentary feature, Gangster of Love premiered at Hot Docs (Canada) and was one of the biggest box office successes in Croatia. Slijepčević is also an educator, mentoring and lecturing at the School of Documentary Film in Zagreb.
