Nikola Ilić is an independant filmmaker and cinematographer living between Serbia and Switzerland. He is interested in creative and observational documentary filmmaking. In 2010, he majored in cinema at the Lucerne School of Art and Design. He is the co-director of Down on the Corner (2013) and Just Another Day in Egypt (2015). His short film Rakijada (2016) was shown all over the world and won various prizes. He is the director of photography of the well received short All Inclusive (2018) directed by his wife, Corina Schwingruber Ilić. His 2021 feature documentary film Dida, a personnal and light-hearted film about his relationship with is mother and grandmother, won multiple awards in festival around the world.
