Noemi Osselaer was born in Aalst, Belgium. She studied audiovisual arts at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts Ghent where she graduated in 2019. Her graduation film Erpe-Mere screened at several festivals including Dok Leipzig, IFFR and at the Louvre museum.
Surrounded by the sound of nocturnal animals, a girl falls into a deep sleep. Gradually we are drawn into her dream, which unfolds into a cosmic journey through the meadows of Erpe-Mere, a rural village in Belgium.
