Renaud Lessard grew up near Ottawa and in New Delhi. He had his first professional experiences on a Bollywood set. He moved to Montreal and graduated in 2015 from the Mel Hoppenheim School of Cinema. His short films have been presented and awarded in several festivals in America, Europe and Asia. Renaud approaches his practice as a writer-director-producer with ambition and empathy. His second feature film is currently in development.
