Tamara Kotevska was born in 1993 in Prilep, Macedonia. She graduated from the University of Dramatic Arts in Skopje and has been working for several years as a freelance director on documentary and fiction films. She co-directed the short film Lake of Apples (2017) with Ljubomir Stefanov, followed by Honeyland (2019), her first feature-length documentary.
