Born in 1986, Théo Boulenger is a sound engineer. After initially focusing on musical composition (electronic music, musique concrète and sound design for radio and image), he also developed his creative talents around sound documentaries. This crossroads genre is a way for him to apprehend complex situations, exploring their sonic, musical, psychological and sometimes even sociological aspects. Tu voudras vivre (2010 Pierre Schaeffer Award) depicts a couple's adversity in front of illness and the passage of time. _Un bonheur immanent magnifies the feeling of being alive, probing the relationship between a mother and her son, who reunite after an extraordinary event. Avec le vent _(2017 Longueur d'ondes Award, independent authors category) brings together, and even contradicts, the testimonies of family members who talk about a long-kept secret adultery. His latest creation, Une excursion extraordinaire, won a mention at the 2019 Phonurgia Nova Awards.
