Thierry Demaizière is a French journalist born in 1959. He first chose to study literature at the Sorbonne before turning to media technology studies. In 1981, he made his first steps in radio broadcasting and, four years later, joined RTL as a reporter and travelled the world. This was followed by a career in documentary film through his production company Falabracks, created in 2009 with Alban Teurlai. Together, they co-directed more than 11 films in ten years, including Allons enfants (2022), Lourdes (2019), Rocco (2016) and Relève: histoire d'une création (2015).
