Virginie Nolin is a film director and producer from Montreal; Laurence Olivier is a filmmaker and author living in Kelowna. Their movies reflect on feminist and queer issues, and on formal experimentation. Summer 2000 is their second cowritten screenplay, and their first collaboration as directors.
