Yannick Nolin is a filmmaker, cinematographer and photographer based in Quebec City. He is co-founder and instigator of the Kinomada project, an international laboratory for the creation of short films. He is also co-founder of L'Établi, a center for the creation and dissemination of photography and media arts. At the same time, he continues his cooperative travels, capturing moments, places and people that touch him. He is best known for co-directing, with Samuel Matteau and Guillaume Fournier, a trilogy of short documentaries on Cajun life and culture in Louisiana: Let The Good Time Roll (2017), Acadiana (2019 and Belle River (2022).
