After studying cinema at the Université du Québec à Montréal, Amélie Hardy directed her first short film, Train Hopper, which won the Grand Prix de la relève Radio-Canada at the RIDM in 2019. She then went on to direct Happy Life, which won the award for best documentary short at the Rendez-Vous Québec Cinéma in 2022. She is also the director of the documentary series Chroniques de la vie ordinaire, broadcast on TV5's platform. In addition to her artistic practice, she participates in the editing of several short films and also works in advertising. In 2022, her short film About Memory and Loss was presented at FIFF Namur.
