François Perreault holds a bachelor's degree in visual arts from Laval University. He entered the world of film and television by accident after exploring video installation and performance art. He is a co-founder of the audiovisual production company Parage Films. In addition to being a director, editor, sound recorder, and producer, he has also been actively involved for several years on the board of directors of Spira and the Kino movement.
