The 24th edition of the Sommets du cinéma d’animation took place from May 11 to 16, 2026, at the Cinémathèque québécoise.
Once again, this edition was a vibrant celebration of animation in all its forms, featuring a rich program: more than one hundred films, dozens of premieres and attending filmmakers, not to mention the must-see pitch competition, numerous professional events, and a wide range of free activities, including outdoor screenings every evening throughout the festival. Often festive and always inclusive, the Sommets bring together industry professionals, artists, students, and the general public to explore the many facets of animated cinema.
You can currently discover on Tënk three animated documentaries that stood out during the festival’s previous edition. Enjoy!
