Sarah Baril Gaudet is a director and cinematographer originally from Abitibi-Témiscamingue, currently based in Montreal. In 2016, she completed a bachelor's degree in cinema at the Université du Québec à Montréal where she was awarded the scholarship for Best Documentary Hope. Her short film Living Here was selected by more than twenty international festivals. In 2020, she directed her first feature film Passage, presented at the RIDM, and nominated at the Gala Québec Cinéma in the Best Documentary Photography category. In 2022 she directed the short documentary The Benevolents, presented at Hot Docs. In 2023, her documentary Sisters of Wrestling was showcased at RIDM.
