The Mimesis Documentary Festival based in Boulder, Colorado, is a celebration of cinema in all its myriad forms, committed to amplifying artists fostering personal, underrepresented voices and culturally specific subjects, maneuvering the intersections between human existence and cinematic craft. Through short films, features, and expanded media works, Mimesis fosters dialogue between filmmakers, scholars, community activists, and audiences, creating space for the most profound experiences that emerge from art made of life.
