The Films of FCVQ

The Films of FCVQ

Discover three works that left their mark on recent editions of the Quebec City Film Festival, a unifying event that always gives pride of place to socially engaged cinema.

For 14 years, the Festival de cinéma de la ville de Québec (FCVQ) has been offering audiences from the greater Capitale-Nationale region and eastern Quebec a grand celebration of cinema. Bridging fiction and documentary, and showcasing local, national, and international films, the FCVQ is an event that brings together film lovers and the general public for a festive and welcoming gathering.

Year after year, the FCVQ provides a unique human experience with films that reflect the latest trends in world cinema, with a particular focus on films that engage with the major issues of our time. The festival aims to be a place where cinema becomes a vehicle for humanism, dialogue, and transformation, opening windows onto other imaginaries and possible worlds.
