Antanas Skučas is an animator, director, and artist. He teaches at the Vilnius Academy of Arts and conducts workshops and masterclasses on creative animation techniques. His animated films Laimės Žiburys (2016) and Grybų Karas (2018) were both named Best Lithuanian Animated Films of their respective years by Tindirindis, the International Festival of Animated Films. His films Vaikystės Dienoraštis (2009) and Raganos Burtai (2009) also received recognition. He is the creator of the animated film series Anykščių Krašto Padavimai (2016) as well as the 12 projections produced for the Lithuanian pavilion at Expo 2015 in Milan. Antanas co-directed Purga with Gintarė Valevičiūtė-Brazauskienė.
