Axel Robin

Axel Robin is a young filmmaker based in Montréal, seeking a balance between the sincere and the absurd, as well as between the organic and the artificial. Their practice spans fiction, dance films, and documentary. Their short film My Memory Walls (2025) won the Best Short Film Award at the Prix collégial du cinéma québécois in 2026, as well as the Grand Jury Prize at the Festival Émergence. The film was also nominated for the Iris Award for Best Documentary Short Film at the 27th edition of the Prix du cinéma québécois.
