caroline pierret pirson was born in Belgium and has lived in Tiohtià:ke/Mooniyang/Montréal since 2003. As a multidisciplinary artist, her artistic production consists of some fifteen group and solo exhibitions, notably at Galerie de l'UQAM, Jill Krutick Fine Art Gallery (New York), and Galerie Détour (Jambes, Belgium), as well as several theatrical screenings, notably at the Cinémathèque québécoise, Cinéma Public and Delta (Namur, Belgium). She holds a Master's degree in visual and media arts from UQAM (2022), which anchors her practice in documentary cinema, sound and digital arts, as well as a Master's degree in photography (1998) from La Cambre in Brussels, where she produced several photographic, videographic and filmic installations. Concurrently, she programmed feminist films highlighting the LGBTQ+ community. She has received numerous awards and grants, notably from the Canada Council for the Arts and the Conseil des arts et des lettres du Québec.
