Christine Pascal, Léos Carax and Alain Corneau. Between 1985 and 1997, he directed a series of films focusing on the work of five artists: Georges Rousse, Roman Opalka, François Morellet, Eugène Leroy, Felicie Varini. In 1995, with Santiago Amigorena, he created his own production company, Les Films du rat, where he began to reflect on the relationship between man and his body and his environment: Hands (1996), Feet (1999), Faces (2003), Corpus/Corpus (2008), Homo/Animal (2010), Homo/Vegetal (2012), Genitals (2017) and Homo/Mineral (2019). In parallel to his work as a filmmaker, he was president of the Association du cinéma indépendant pour sa diffusion (ACID) from 1999 to 2002. He also gives lectures at the Beaux-arts, film schools and universities.
