After studying cinema at Paris-Sorbonne University, Corentin Leconte specialized in creative documentaries and cultural films. He directed the documentary L'Alhambra en musiques (2017) for the ARTE channel, as well as numerous artist portraits and animated films, including Pierre & le Loup (2013). He has also specialized in recording live performances for various French and international channels. His film Akeji, The Breath of the Mountain (2020), co-directed with Mélanie Schaan, was selected for major festivals and won the Best Cinematic Essay Award at the Montreal International Festival of Films on Art (FIFA).
