Gintarė Valevičiūtė-Brazauskienė is an interdisciplinary artist. She is actively involved in the creation, organization, and programming of various artistic projects and exhibitions, and she conducts creativity workshops. After completing her advanced studies in arts at the Vilnius Academy of Arts, she currently teaches in the Academy’s Department of Photography, Animation, and Media Arts. She is also engaged in promoting the potential applications of animation across broader fields and exhibits her work in art exhibitions and film festivals. Gintarė’s films and video projects have been recognized at international film and media arts festivals. Her animated film Maskaradas (2006) and her documentary Dievas Sukūrė Viską Išskyrus Kilimą (2012) have both received awards. She co-directed Purga with Antanas Skučas.
