After studying English and a brief detour through the Tours Conservatory of Theatre, Guisane Humeau joined CREADOC in Angoulême in 2013, where she trained in audio documentary. In her work, she explores the dialogue between intimacy and imagination, using sound to gently invite listeners into introspection. Poetry and writing are integral to her approach. In 2015, she received the Petites Ondes award at the Longueur d'Ondes Festival in Brest for Plus je vieillis, plus ça me revient! In 2018, she co-founded the collective La Disquette, where she produced numerous sound creations blending experimental and documentary forms, including Temps mort, an exploration of our relationship with boredom. Since 2021, she has collaborated on sound design for live performances, reconnecting with her passion for the stage and direct audience engagement. She continues to explore the possibilities of audio documentary with her current project, Savoir faire demi-tour, an emotional investigation into our relationship with boundaries in the alpine valley of La Guisane.
