Igor Drljača's is a Canadian and Bosnian-Herzegovinian film writer, producer and director born 1983. His early work includes several award-winning shorts and features such as Woman in Purple, The Fuse: or How I Burned Simon Bolivar, Krivina, and The Waiting Room. His documentary, The Stone Speakers, premiered at TIFF and Berlinale in 2019. In 2020, his short film The Archivists premiered at TIFF, and he is currently developing a long-form project based on it. Drljača’s latest film, The White Fortress (2021), premiered at Berlinale and was Bosnia-Herzegovina’s official entry for the Oscars. He is now in post-production on his upcoming film, Park Europe. Drljača is the co-founder of TimeLapse Pictures, alongside filmmaker Albert Shin, and serves as an associate professor at the University of British Columbia.
