A 2015 graduate of the Mel Hoppenheim School of Cinema, Jonathan Beaulieu-Cyr grew up between Témiscamingue and the suburbs of Quebec City. His first feature film, Mad Dog Labine was awarded the Grand Prix Focus Qc/Canada at the Festival du Nouveau Cinéma in 2018. In addition to his work as a director, screenwriter and producer, he is a graduate student at Concordia University. He is the director and writer of the web series Coeur d'or, launching in 2019.
