Joyce Rock is originally from Montreal. After co-directing the documentary _A Wives' Tale_, she turned to community work. She was notably the Executive Director of Downtown Eastside Neighborhood House in Vancouver from 2005 to 2011. Back in Montreal, she continued her community involvement and recently received the 3M Award for Health Leadership.
