Léa Clermont-Dion is an author, filmmaker, and postdoctoral researcher in Art Education at Concordia University's Faculty of Arts, with her thesis focusing on online anti-feminist discourses in Quebec. Over the past few years, she has published several successful books. She is also known as the co-writer of Beauté fatale, broadcast on Télé-Québec in 2014. Collaborating with Gianluca Della Montagna, she co-directed and co-wrote the documentary series T’as juste à porter plainte, which aired on Noovo in 2021. For nearly fifteen years, her social involvement in women's emancipation has been recognized. She has delivered over two hundred lectures on feminist issues, including at the Council of Europe. Additionally, she is the recipient of the Vanier Doctoral Scholarship, Canada's most prestigious recognition for academic excellence and community impact.
