With a Master's degree in Art from the Université du Québec à Chicoutimi, Louis Moulin has made cinema his preferred means of expression. Part director, part cinematographer, he places the image at the center of his attention and creative process. Seeking a certain contemplation in his frames, he gives them precision and simplicity, while retaining a unique strength. Among his works are Je suis là (2020), his second short documentary in which he paints a vivid portrait of four subjects, as well as Tshiuetin ou la lenteur du nord (2018), his very first documentary, which follows the contemplative journey of the Tshiuetin train.
