Lucien Roux

A young filmmaker from Grenoble, Lucien Roux studied at the École Supérieure d'Art et de Méditerranée and at UQAM, where he learned about visual arts and, more specifically, cinematic imagery. Now holding a National Higher Diploma in Visual Expression, he works at the Norbert Elias National Research Center, at the "Fabrique des écritures," where he produces documentaries in partnership with anthropologist researchers from the CNRS. He is the co-founder, along with Matthias Joulaud, of Maison Momo, a production association with which he creates his own cinematic projects. He also teaches documentary practice at EHESS, University of Marseille, University of Avignon, Aix Marseille University (AMU), and University of Toulouse Jean Jaurès. Photo © Dachi Sibo.
