Matthias Joulaud

After studying photography and drawing at the Beaux Arts de Paris, Matthias Joulaud turned to cinema, enrolling in the Ecal/Head Master's program in Switzerland. His attraction to the visual arts characterizes his sober, intimate graphic style. Photography and color film have had a profound influence on his aesthetic research into landscape and portraiture. Today, he navigates between music videos, fiction and documentaries. He founded the company La Maison Momo with his collaborator and friend Lucien Roux in 2019. Together they directed Ramboy en 2022.
