Pau Faus is a documentary filmmaker and visual artist born in Barcelona in 1974. A trained architect, he entered the world of cinema through audiovisual projects connected to contemporary art, social movements, and political communication. His work is rooted in activating mechanisms of representation and/or interaction to bring out the particularities and conflicts of the environments he chooses to portray. He taught at the Vallès School of Architecture (UPC) and was a member of the urban exploration collective Osservatorio Nomade. His award-winning film Ada for Mayor (2016) was his first film as a director and screenwriter. Fauna (2023) is his second feature-length documentary.
