Paweł Łoziński is a Polish documentary director, cinematographer, and producer born in Warsaw in 1965. A graduate of the Directing Department of the Film School in Łódź, he is the author of more than 20 award-winning documentaries. His films are distinguished by their emotional depth and intimate portrayals of ordinary people. Łoziński gained international recognition with his documentary debut, Birthplace (1992). His subsequent films—Sisters (1999), Chemo (2009), Father and Son (2013), You Have No Idea How Much I Love You (2016), and most recently The Balcony Movie (2021)—have been acclaimed for their innovative exploration of new themes and uncharted territory within documentary cinema.
