Sara Bourdeau lives and works in Rivière-Ouelle, in the Bas-Saint-Laurent region of Quebec. In 2020, she founded her production company, Boucane Films. Sara has directed several short films, including Du bon usage de l’amitié, L’heure bleue, L’odeur après la pluie, and Roseline comme dans les films. Her latest short film, Sylvie en liberté, will be released in 2023. It was written, produced, and filmed in the Kamouraska region. In addition to making films, Sara enjoys gardening and wishes for the downfall of capitalism.
