Shu Aiello is a French director and production manager of Italian origin. Her documentary work focuses on social and identity issues related to French colonial history. She develops a personal approach to questions of exile and migration through her work in cinema. She worked for many years with 13 Productions and has also collaborated with directors such as Abraham Ségal, Jean-Louis Comolli, and Iossif Pasternak. She frequently collaborates with filmmaker Catherine Catella and also oversees the production of several short films.
