Tamara Uribe, born in 1989, is a Chilean documentary filmmaker with a degree in Cinema and Audiovisual Studies from the Catholic University of Chile. With over ten years of experience, she has focused her work on documentary film, new digital media, and film programming. Since 2013, she has been a member of the MAFI collective, contributing to the transmedia project MAFI.tv, which premiered at IDFA DocLab in 2013, and to the feature documentary Dios, which received an award at Visions du Réel in 2019. She is the co-director of the short film Libertad o la muerte, and her feature debut is Oasis—a new MAFI collaboration co-directed with Felipe Morgado—which had its world premiere in the Forum section of the 2024 Berlinale.
