Tim Bouvette is a director and screenwriter. His realistic stories are rooted in a cinema of everyday life, where the purity of the narrative holds a central place. His short film La petite Floride (2020) was screened at numerous festivals around the world, notably winning the Audience Award at the Festival REGARD in 2020. His latest film, Rang du lièvre (2025), also received the Chouchou du public jeunesse – primary and secondary school audience award – in the school section of the Festival REGARD in 2025. His third short film, titled Lac en cœur, is currently in post-production, and he is also developing his first feature-length fiction film, Les feux fantômes.
