Valentina Shasivari
Born in Locarno in 1992, Valentina Shasivari is a filmmaker of Swiss and Kosovar origin. After earning a master’s degree in art history and social anthropology from the University of Bern in 2020, she pursued film directing studies at ECAL/HEAD. Her first short film, Mountain Flesh, was screened at several international festivals, including IDFA and REGARD. In 2024, she directed an episode of Futura! - Vol. II, which was presented at the Solothurn Film Festival. She is currently developing her first feature film, Prato Pernice, with the support of Migros Story Lab and La Salle de Sport.
