"I learned a lot about First Nations peoples after seeing this film because I didn't understand everything. I was able to talk about it with my mother and my aunt, who explained to me that they had been forbidden to speak their language. It really shocked me.”
- Lou, age 7
"It's important to see this film so we don't do the same bad things to First Nations peoples in the future. Also, the film talks about the transmission of knowledge and it made me think about what my grandmothers taught me."
- Romane, age 10
